I have known Alun for over 20 years, first working with him when I was elected President of the International Tennis Federation in 1999 and he was Head of Communications. We worked together successfully to reposition tennis both within the Olympic Movement and within the tennis community. Alun also led a project to rebrand and celebrate the centenary of Davis Cup. Alun left the ITF in 2000 but the ITF continued to work with him on many projects including a strategic audit of the ITF Board that led to recommendations for improved governance, competitions, communications and commercialisation.
